Wow – it has been awhile since we wrote. Last night was Halloween and Morgane had a great time. Amelie made her a very cute mouse costume and even though she didn’t want to wear the hat and ears, everyone could see what she was. She still had a tail, dragging behind her as she walked.

I thought since she is so little that we would stay home and hand out candy, but she had other plans. She ran out the door and down the street. She wanted to walk far and stop at every house along the way. She stopped to kiss a dog dressed as a butterfly and to try and steal a little pumpkin that was on display.

All in all, she loved all the activity and kept running around with all the people going up and down the street. She was only scared once when our little neighbour, dressed as a lion, let out a big roar.

Then we went and visited Mylene and Etienne and Morgane sat in their big inflatable pumpkin and handed out candy.

Morgane is very active these days. She can go up and down the stairs, loves the slide at the park, climbs on and off all the furniture, etc. She is also talking a lot. Now she says ‘dou dou’ when she pats Carmanah and says ‘coucou’ when she hides her face with her hands. She says ‘woo woo woo’ for a dog and ‘whack whack whack’ for a duck. She says ‘beau’ if something is nice and I think she said ‘bunny’ yesterday.

The answer to every question is ‘no’ although sometimes she means yes. For example, I ask Ghis if he wants toast, and she says, ‘no.’

She is very sweet and cute and has a fifth tooth now and we love her.
