Morgane on the ferry from Dartmouth to Halifax.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We’ve parked the van for three days at a campground and have been taking the bus to Halifax every day. The first day was just Morgane and me.<\/p>\n

It was a foggy day. We took the ferry across from Dartmouth (a ten-minute ride) and then decided to take a cab to the Museum of Natural History. Once there, we discovered that it was closed until January. We were bummed, especially Morgane, who said she felt homesick.<\/p>\n

She felt much better once we got to the Discovery Science Centre. There was lots of hands-on stuff for her to do. Goofy mirrors, bridges to build, and a room where you could blow bubbles around your entire body.<\/p>\n

We had a great lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant and checked out an excellent candy store. Then we came home and had our first family movie in the van – Hoodwinked – it’s a spoof of Little Red Riding Hood.<\/p>\n
