Ghis was so tired, but he stopped yesterday so I could take pictures of this cheery pumpkin patch.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Today was rainy and all we really did was go to the market and the laundromat. We are still here in Wolfville for one more night. Tomorrow is the pumpkin regatta and it is supposed to be nice out.<\/p>\n

After that, we are going back to Ian and Zelda’s in Bridgewater for Thanksgiving Dinner. Hurray! They are so kind to us – making sweet potatoes for me (I can’t eat regular taters) and leaving out the cinnamon for Ghis. Morgane is excited to go back and see Aliya, too.<\/p>\n

The market was rainy, but full of cheery people. There was the man selling organic apples and fresh juice, standing without shelter in his heavy-duty rain gear. There were tiny tarte-tatins for a dollar each. There are a lot of vineyards and wineries close by and I bought some local cider that is excellent.<\/p>\n

I also bought a bag of beautiful orange and yellow carrots. I feel so nourished when I have fresh, organic food and there is so much of it here! There’s a lot to be said for living in a community like this, where so many people are working towards the same goal.<\/p>\n

The whole time I was at the market, Morgane was inside the library playing with the little kitchen and the lego. Brogan was there working, too. There was a very young boy who took the food that Morgane pretended to cook and dutifully tasted each piece of plastic.<\/p>\n
