It’s a nice quiet Sunday. We have not had enough of these. The snow is falling thicker and heavier by the minute. Looking outside, it’s hard to believe that winter won’t last forever, but I know the seasons change so quickly in Montreal. Yesterday we cross-country skied with the dogs and Morgane. Our Husky family sure gets a lot of stares. We even got our picture taken for the park brochure.
Morgane will be 6 months old tomorrow. She just woke up and is all sleepy in my arms. She is doing so many things all of a sudden: sitting up, pushing herself up when on her tummy, eating her toes while sitting in her chair, and eating cereal (and making a big mess). No more colds finally. I almost forgot another first for this week. Last Wednesday, Morgane came swimming with us! We spent about half an hour and she never cried and seemed to enjoy it – especially the rubber ducks we got to play with. We’ll defintely go back as the pool is great, warm and there are hardly any people there.
This week, I have been doing a bit or work for school and reading the (almost) final proofs for the textbook: Blueprints which will be published soon and available for this Fall. Luckily, Morgane is now taking a two-hour nap every morning. This is a nice age!
Ghis is still happy at work and before long, he will be heading out of the city to visit such places as Quebec City and Chicoutimi. Morgane and I, on the other hand, are planning a trip to Vancouver in May.
Anyway, Morgane is a very busy girl, so I am going to go. I hope everyone is doing well.
Heather
