Well, well, we have finally realized steps one and two. We’ve modified the third step: we take possession of the house the first week of May.

The elderly woman will move into her lodgings the first of April and it works out well for both of us to make the sale a bit earlier. It goes without saying that we are very happy.

The plans: Like I said before, they’ve changed. We’ve decided to wait before demolishing anything. We want to spend some time in the house, getting to know it before changing it. In this way, we’ll be better able to decide what needs changing.

One thing for sure, we’ll have a special night “before.” We invite you all the night we take possession of the house to come and take a look befoer we start painting.

We’ll be removing all the carpets on the first floor (and hoping that we won’t have to redo the hardwood floors).

Apart from this, we have to change the bathtub and add counters and a pantry in our little kitchen.

After that, we’ll do the yard: a space for the dogs, the garden to prepare, the shed to move, the cedar hedges to prune, the fence to repair, take off the fiberglass on the cast iron window and door awnings.

Less than 45 sleeps before we take possession!

Morgane and Heather are going to visit British Columbia for the last two weeks of June.

Ghislain has to pay for the little ride he took in an ambulance this weekend. Apparently, he’s allergic to pita bread? And the reaction happened so quickly. Everything was back to normal after 60 minutes. Oof.

Well, I have to go make granola bars for my friends at work who always eat doughnuts in the morning.
