We are Canadians travelling for one year around North America. Our VW Eurovan carries us around with our 7 year old daughter and 13 year old Siberian Husky.
To help us lower the costs of our trip, we are looking for opportunities to work in exchange for food and lodging.
About us:
Heather is an English as a second language professor in a private college in Montreal, Qc. She is also finishing a master’s degree in creative writing at the University of British Columbia. She writes children’s fiction books, non-fiction articles for magazines, and creative non-fiction. She also takes a lot of photographs.
Ghislain is a consultant who helps decision makers and business owners to implement changes which eventually lead them to work less and delegate responsibilities to their staff. Those changes leave his clients with more time to generate ideas and promote sustainability. This in turn gives their staff more input in their day to day workplace making them less likely to be dissatisfied or to move to other workplaces.
Morgane is a 7 year old child who loves traveling and meeting new friends. She is being home-schooled for her second grade by both her parents. She loves art, reading, playing and running around. She is teaching us moderation and helping us understand our limits.
Carmanah is a retired 13 year old Siberian Husky. At this point of her life, she mostly sits, sleeps and eats; however, she still enjoys walking in the woods.
