This morning we visited Assateague Island and despite the rain and wind, we saw some wild horses. To be honest, after watching them for a couple of minutes, they didn’t seem much different, but I think it would be great to spend a chunk of time observing them. The ones we saw were all eating.
Now we are at the library in Berlin and Morgane is using the books to make houses for all the resident stuffed animals. Sometimes she gets distracted and actually reads one of the books.
We are trying to catch up with some folks from Switzerland that I think Ghis met on PEI. They are doing a similar trip and right now we are close on their trail. After the library, we’ll go to Chincoteague Island and see if they are still there.
Still hoping to see the sun tomorrow.
Ocean City was not very attractive. It’s a little strip of land with water on both sides, a main road with high rises on one side and a ton of mini-golf places on the other side.
