We are in St. John, New Brunswick about to head into the United States. Looks like it’s warmer in Washington, DC.

Yesterday we lost 250 pounds! We sent stuff back to Drummondville on the bus including: our bikes, our roof rack, our roof-top box, some clothes, books, a therma-rest, and the tripod.
It feels like the beginning of a more zen segment of our trip. Now there’s more room in the van and it’s so much easier to open the back door and pop the top. Before it took two of us!
Ghis’s back is hurting, so this comes at a good time.

Woke up this morning in Moncton and it was damn cold! On the sides of the highway there was snow! Morgane and Ghis and Carmanah got out and frolicked briefly.
We’ve decided to leave Maine and Boston for another trip since they are not so far from Quebec. So south we go!
