Unfortunately Ghis’s back has really been hurting so her spent the day seeing a doctor and a chiropractor. We hope he’ll be feeling better soon.
Morgane and I took the metro to the zoo in Washington, DC. The ride was pleasant and I liked the area where the zoo is – nice little shops and lots of beautiful old apartments.

We walked a lot at the zoo, but were rewarded with lots of interesting animals to see. The orang-utans at this zoo can even climb along wires to go from one exhibit to another. We saw a mother gorilla with her little baby (born this January). She didn’t look too happy to see us though. She looked like many mothers of babies do – sleep-deprived!

Ghis has to see the chiropractor tomorrow. I haven’t decided if we’ll go into the city again or hang out here for a day and relax.
We are signed up for Boo at the Zoo. This Friday Morgane, Mariamalia and I will dress up and go around the zoo collecting candy as part of this special Halloween event.

Oh, the other thing we want to do soon is go see the movie: Where the Wild Things Are. Very exciting!
