Today we mostly stayed in. Ghis got the leaf blower going and we cleaned up millions (it seemed like) of leaves. Turns out it’s not the first clean up this season – they have to do it all the time! Nevertheless, they were happy to have help.
Also Ghis performed a miracle by repairing the remote control for the fan in the back porch. The fan had been on for 7 months as there wasn’t another way to turn it off. Bravo, Ghis!
Morgane spent the morning with the two little dogs on a pouffy chair watching her favourite TV shows. Tomorrow we’ll probably go to a museum in Raleigh or Durham.
A cute ‘Ghis-ism:’ We were raking leaves and he was looking for the wheelbarrow – the cart with wheels. He said, “Where is the cartwheel?”
Still haven’t seen the lake or gone in the hot tub. Got to fix that soon.
