Driving Through Numerous States

Today we left Maine and drove through New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York and now we’re sleeping in New Jersey. Needless to say we haven’t done much sightseeing – only in Worcester, to get the van checked (it’s okay, for now). We got snowed on driving through Connecticut.

Over the bridge. It's a double-decker with cars driving on the lower part and trucks and cars on the top.

Then we had a lot of traffic in New York, mostly because we passed through The Bronx. We crossed over the George Washington Bridge. Ghis thought he saw Manhattan and Central Park and I, the one who has already been to New York City, told him he was crazy. When we got a better map, I realized he was right.

It hurt a bit to drive right by without showing Morgane anything of the city, but we are saving these spots for another trip. Right now the goal is to be somewhere warm. It’s not exactly hot in Washington, DC this week, but hopefully that will change. What probably won’t change is the number of tollbooths – LOTS!
