Well, we got stuck driving through Philadelphia today and since I really wanted to see more of Pennsylvania, we took a slight detour. Therefore, we didn’t make it to Washington, DC, but we are in a beautiful B&B in the heart of Amish Country.
We missed the Amish dinner tonight, but tomorrow we should get to see lots of Amish folks and businesses. The Pennsylvania countryside and houses are beautiful and quite unique.
Looking forward to seeing it all tomorrow. Apparently the centre of activity is a town called Intercourse (which means a hub of activity). Also looking forward to a great breakfast.

Yes, for real! And we’re close to another spot, too, called Blue Balls. Now that makes me laugh. This morning we could hear the lovely noise of horses going by. We must have seen ten buggies go by. Breakfast – yum! I’ll tell more later.
