After Louisbourg, we slept in Baddeck. We parked behind our restaurant by the wharf which was okay except there was some kind of a dance going on not far away so there was music into the night.
The next day we drove onward, stopping at a B&B in Pictou. I had a good nap and then we found a little stand serving good Thai food. It was a welcome change! We haven’t even had many fresh vegetables in the past weeks.
The Willow Inn was great and they took good care of us. Now we are in Truro and Ghis is shopping for a couple of things to make the van more comfortable and organized (especially the bed, for me!) Morgane and I are doing her school work at a nice cafe. It’s good to be inside during the rain.
