We’ve parked the van for three days at a campground and have been taking the bus to Halifax every day. The first day was just Morgane and me.
It was a foggy day. We took the ferry across from Dartmouth (a ten-minute ride) and then decided to take a cab to the Museum of Natural History. Once there, we discovered that it was closed until January. We were bummed, especially Morgane, who said she felt homesick.
She felt much better once we got to the Discovery Science Centre. There was lots of hands-on stuff for her to do. Goofy mirrors, bridges to build, and a room where you could blow bubbles around your entire body.
We had a great lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant and checked out an excellent candy store. Then we came home and had our first family movie in the van – Hoodwinked – it’s a spoof of Little Red Riding Hood.
